Ultra High Contrast Ratio of 10,000,000:1
The latest digital micromirror technology in the Polygon UHC achieves market-leading contrast ratio. That is, the greatest ratio of the light intensity of an all-on image to an all-off image. The higher the contrast, the better the background light can be suppressed.
Larger Optogenetic Grid Scans
The Polygon UHC can create optogenetic grid scans with a greater number of grids for higher spatial resolution circuit mapping. This allows the user to target optical stimulation more precisely to smaller regions of interest.
Decreased Ectopic Activation
With the Polygon UHC, only the regions of interest are targeted by photo-stimulation, decreasing unwanted photoactivation of surrounding light sensitive areas in the tissue of interest.
Larger Dynamic Range
The Polygon UHC produces more grey levels, leading to seamless optical intensity application. Further, this larger dynamic range is relevant for studies requiring fine control of low intensity stimulation parameters, such as retina-related studies.
2-Photon System Compatible
The Polygon UHC can be seamlessly integrated with 2-photon microscopes allowing for easy transition between patterned stimulation and 2-photon imaging.
