Mightex Awards and Prizes
Overview
At Mightex, we believe that advancing science is a collective effort, and that recognition and support can go a long way in empowering the next generation of researchers. To celebrate and encourage outstanding work in the scientific community, we have established three award programs designed to highlight innovation, foster collaboration, and support knowledge sharing.
The Mightex Research Excellence Award recognizes novel research achievements made possible with Mightex’s equipment. The Mightex Travel Award helps scientists bring their work to the global stage by presenting at academic conferences. And the Mightex Application Note Award encourages researchers to share their discoveries in the form of Application Notes, inspiring others and advancing the field.
Together, these awards not only showcase the accomplishments of our community but also provide meaningful opportunities for researchers to gain recognition, share their insights, and further their careers.
Research Excellence Awards
The Mightex Research Excellence Award Competition is established to reward research students and postdoc researchers, who have successfully used Mightex equipment to conduct advanced research, accomplishing quality results.
1st place – $3,000 USD, 2nd place – $2,000 USD, 3rd place – $1,000 USD, and Honorable Mentions – $500 USD.
Travel Awards
The Mightex Travel Award is established to sponsor research students and postdoc researchers, who travel to academic conferences and are presenting research (including data) using Mightex equipment. Each award winner will receive $500 USD in travel funding.
Application Note Awards
The Mightex Application Note Award is established to encourage research students and postdoc researchers to share their research with other scientists, in the form of Application Notes based on research results made possible using Mightex equipment. Each Reward recipient will receive $1000 USD.
